Vizual, e o bijuterie.
M-am jucat acu’ vreo 2 saptamani cu el. Intre timp, a fost maritat. Tot ce zic e prin ochii unui utilizator de iPhone.
Touch-ul e foarte slab. Trebuie apasat pe el, nu recunoaste cum trebuie degetele ( calibrat, nu aiurea ). Are avantaj ca are stylus-ul si ca poti scrie de mana.
Accelerometrul este foarte slab, reactioneaza mult mai incet decat cel la iPhone 3G ( 3G, nu 3GS ). Procesorul tot slabut. Capacitatea de stocare e foarte mare, nu prea am inteles de ce mai ofera si slot pentru card. Autonomie mica, dar ne-am obisnuit cu asta de la toate telefoanele cu touchscreen mari ce au aparut in ultimul timp. Dupa 3-4 ore de browsing internet deja trebuie pus la incarcat.

Am facut in urma cu ceva timp tutorialul de instalat programe pe iPhone. Intre timp, Puy0 a renuntat la proiect si a pornit Install0us. ( zero in loc de O ). Noul site este aici.
Ce aduce nou Install0us?
Vechiul Installous era un simplu browser cu download manager. Install0us verifica toate aplicatiile prin AppStore ( cred ) si te anunta care aplicatii au update-uri. Foarte folositor daca ne gandim ca aplicatiile care nu sunt cumparate nu sunt recunoscute de AppStore.
Browse-ul merge pe appulo.us in continuare, si se misca ceva mai bine decat in aplicatia nativa.

Functioneaza si pentru varianta 3.1.2 al OS-ului iPhone.

Conform Cnet, pe baza unui studiu facut de ComScore in Statele Unite, numarul utilizatorilor de smartphone-uri cu Apple OS a depasit numarul de utilizatori de telefoane cu Windows Mobile. Era de asteptat, numarul de aplicatii iPhone fiind net superior numarului si functionalitatii aplicatiilor Windows Mobile.

Dupa ce s-a lansat oficial 3GS-ul in Romania, din motive ce tin de o cartela busita am poposit intr-un Orange Store. M-am jucat un pic cu 3GS-ul care il aveau acolo si l-am intrebat pe tip daca n-au vreun sistem buy-back, ca m-ar tenta 3GS-ul. Azi, EvZ scrie despre programul “Rabla” lansat pentru telefoane.
Bataie de joc. Maxim 20% din valoare? iPhone 3G-ul meu e in stare perfecta. L-as schimba doar pentru diferenta la RAM/procesor si doar pe un 3GS. Dar ies mai bine daca vand 3G-ul si dau diferenta pana la 3GS.
In loc sa faca un program de fidelizare, e un program de profituri nesimtite. Pentru ca telefoanele ce vor ajunge pe “piata asiatica” vor avea preturi minim duble, daca nu triple fata de ce primim noi in schimbul lor. Ar fi facut o treaba desteapta daca mergeau pe profit mic in cazul telefoanelor de valoare mare, fidelizau frumos clientii.
Asa, e doar o bataie de joc. Decat sa iau de la ei, mai bine cand bugetul imi permite imi iau un iPhone 3GS 16GB
de la eMAG, si stiu ca nici nu stau legat de ei 2 ani.

Google a lansat o aplicatie pentru iPhone. Din punctul meu de vedere foarte slabuta. In afara de Google Voice Search, restul sunt doar shortcuturi ce duc spre serviciile Google prin Safari. Macar e mocca.

Scenetorrents will be closing at 10pm on the 29th November 2009.
Userii inca spera ca se va lansa SceneTorrents V2. Feeling zice ca “pur si simplu il inchide”. Scena se pare ca l-a dibuit.

By now most of you already know that ScT will be going offline permanently.
However, due to pending legal issues, we are not at liberty to speak freely about why we’ve chosen to take down the site.
Members of our staff were arrested and will be undergoing the entire length of the judicial process.
Obviously, in the case of criminal proceedings, it would be downright foolish to comment any further on the situation;
Please bear this in mind and wish them the best of luck.
There have been several theories as to where the donation money (of the recent months) has gone. We’d like to take this opportunity to put all skepticism to rest.
The money was used to purchase new hardware that would ensure our spot as the fastest tracker on the net.
You are free to perform whatever calculations you feel necessary, but in doing so it should become very clear that running a site of this stature costs money.
We feel the overwhelming cynicism is just a product of bad timing compounded with general frustration caused by the current situation.
We sincerely hope that you’ve enjoyed being a part of our wonderful community over the past 4 1/2 years.
We’ve certainly enjoyed our members letting us be of service. We’ve always felt our user base played an equally important role in making SceneTorrents.org a model environment in the torrent world.
The staff would also like to express their gratitude to fellow trackers for their support in such a chaotic time. Several well known communities have voluntarily opened their doors, and have offered our former users a new home.
We appreciate the courtesy and acknowledge the steps being taken to move forward collectively as a community. Your assistance does not go unrecognized.
